1. Overview
This policy explains how the VPSF Database collects and uses data to run league automation and publish public VPSF information.
2. Information we collect
- Discord identifiers and usernames, including roles when needed for permissions.
- Steam IDs or profile links if provided or required for eligibility checks.
- Teams, rosters, fixtures, match results, and transfer history.
- Uploaded player images or media you choose to provide.
- Administrative logs related to moderation and security.
3. How we use information
We use data to display league tables, player profiles, match lists, and historical records, and to automate roster verification and moderation workflows.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies for admin sessions and basic security. We may store simple preferences in local storage (such as motion settings). We do not use advertising trackers.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Public league data is visible to anyone on the site. Access to private or staff-only data is limited to authorized VPSF staff. We do not sell personal data. We may share data with required providers like Discord, hosting services, or the Steam API to keep the site working.
6. Data retention
We keep data as long as needed for league operations and historical records. You can request removal or corrections through a VPSF Discord ticket, and we will handle it when feasible.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure. Use the site at your own risk.
8. Your choices
You can request access, corrections, or deletion of certain data by contacting VPSF staff. You can also update profile details through staff if they are inaccurate.
9. Children
This service is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements of Discord and Steam. If you do not meet those requirements, do not use the site.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect league changes. If you have questions, open a ticket in the VPSF Discord.
